The Museum

Towcester Museum Trust is a registered charity (Charity number 1120909) founded in 2003 and dedicated to providing a quality museum and visitor centre for Towcester. Located in the courtyard of a former Georgian coaching inn in the heart of historic Towcester, the museum provides a centre for tourism and historical information for the district and a much needed focal point for the exhibition, display and interpretation of the history of the Towcester district. The People Behind Towcester Museum…

Trustees: Our organisation consists of six trustees. The Trustees meetings take place once a month and interpretive meetings every six weeks.

Volunteers: The museum depends strongly on its volunteers of whom there are over 40.

Supporters: There is also the Towcester Museum 100 Club which provides financial support.
